I was able to learn new techniques and acquire hands-on experience using the skills I have learned in my studies.

I wish I had more prior knowledge regarding software development and related business decision-making before entering the field.
Advice
Ask as many questions as you can and don’t be afraid to speak up! I learned so much more by asking to attend meetings and work alongside my peers.

What I liked
UPS is a great company. Great corporate structure, excellent opportunities in terms of mobility and working your way up
What I wish was different
I worked in the Finance & Accounting department of the Insurance leg of UPS (UPS Capital), and the work wasn't super rewarding. But I still worked with great people and didn't mind going into work every day.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions, not just about the work you're doing but also about people's career trajectory and studies. Networking doesn't stop when you get the job!
